Nishio City, Aichi Prefecture (Mayor: Ken Nakamura), is currently holding the 'Nishio City Furusato Nozei x La Concer Okayasu Collaboration Campaign' on its official Instagram account. This is a chance to win 'Matcha Sweets' made with Nishio City's local specialties! Anyone can easily participate by following the accounts, liking the post, and applying.

Promoting Nishio City's Furusato Nozei and Regional Charm via Social Media On October 29, 2024, Nishio City planned a new strategic initiative called 'Nishio City Edition Furusato Nozei 3.0' as a distinctive approach to further develop its tax donation program. As part of this, they opened an official Instagram account and used unique characters such as Furusato Nozei Ambassadors 'Macho' and 'Unacho' to promote the city's return gifts. The slightly quirky appearance and personality of these characters gained a large response, reaching 10,000 followers in just three months. Since then, a new character 'Ebicho' was born, and the account has grown into a powerful tool for PR.

This growth would not have been possible without the cooperation of the local business operators. Therefore, this collaboration campaign was organized not just to showcase the products, but also to let people experience the charm of the businesses behind them.

With the help of Nishio's popular cake shop, La Concer Okayasu, we have prepared prizes of 'Nishio Matcha Lemon Cake (5-piece set)' for five winners.

Nishio City will continue to use social media to share the appeal of its tax donation program and regional culture, creating opportunities to connect with people across the country.
