【Organizer's Comment】

The U.S. Air Force Pacific Air Forces Band is one of ten officially organized bands of the U.S. Air Force, based at Yokota Air Base in Tokyo.

The band has two important missions: first, to perform at official ceremonies and events on U.S. military bases; and second, to serve as "musical goodwill ambassadors," conducting goodwill activities in 36 countries across the Indo-Pacific region, including Japan, to foster international exchange with local populations.

The band members are elites selected through rigorous auditions. They have graduated from music universities and graduate schools and have prior experience as music teachers, university professors, or professional musicians before joining the Air Force. Their repertoire boasts a wide range, from authentic American Jazz to Oldies and Japanese pop music.

We invite you to enjoy international exchange through music at the Nishi-Waga Town Culture Creation Hall Galaxy Hall on the day of the event.
