[Ibaraki City, Osaka] Ibaraki City SME Wage Increase Incentive

Starting June 1, 2026, Ibaraki City will launch a program to provide incentives to businesses that increase wages, aiming to support local SMEs affected by rising prices and labor shortages. This unique initiative seeks to promote sustainable wage growth, secure talent, and create a virtuous cycle in the local economy.

## About the Program

■ Eligibility
SME corporations with their head office or main business location within the city, or sole proprietors with a business location within the city.

■ Eligible Employees
Regular and non-regular employees (working 20 hours or more per week) employed at business locations within the city.

■ Eligible Period
Wage increases occurring between January 1, 2026, and December 31, 2026.
*Increases via bonuses or allowances are excluded. Basic salary and hourly wages are eligible.

■ Incentive Amounts
Regular employees: 50,000 yen/person for a wage increase rate of 2.5% or more; 30,000 yen/person for 1.5% or more.
Non-regular employees: 50,000 yen/person for a wage increase rate of 5% or more; 30,000 yen/person for 3% or more.

■ Limit
Up to 10 employees per business location.

■ Application
Main application follows the approval of preliminary registration.
*Preliminary registration is accepted in two phases and will end as soon as the budget is reached.

## Briefing Session
A session to explain requirements, application procedures, required documents, tax incentives for wage increases, and other related systems.

・Participation Fee: Free (Registration deadline: June 10)
