Wakayama Prefecture, Kinokawa City: Convenience Store Issued Certificates Now Uniformly 10 Yen; Promoting "No-Counter" Services (Certificate Issuance at Convenience Stores)

Kinokawa City is working to create opportunities for everyone to experience the convenience of digitalization by further promoting the issuance of certificates at convenience stores, which is on the rise with the spread of My Number Cards.

Continuing from fiscal year Reiwa 7 (2025), the initiative to reduce the fee for certificates issued at convenience stores using My Number Cards to a flat 10 yen will be continued. The period is until March 31, Reiwa 9 (2027).

We will create opportunities for citizens to experience the convenience of digital administrative services at nearby convenience stores that can be used even at night or in the early morning. By using convenience store issued certificates, we aim to alleviate congestion at service counters and strive to provide more attentive services.
