The Minoh Chamber of Commerce (Minoh City, Osaka Prefecture) is accepting applications for the 'Minoh Zero-Ichi Support Project,' a collaborative initiative with Minoh City to support individuals aiming to start a business within the city, entrepreneurs in the early stages of operation, and existing businesses launching new ventures.

This project is a hands-on startup support program that not only subsidizes a portion of the expenses required to launch a new business or venture but also integrates pre-application consultations, business planning, post-selection implementation support, and ongoing management guidance after implementation.

The subsidy amount is up to 300,000 JPY, with a subsidy rate of up to two-thirds of eligible expenses. Approximately 20 applicants are expected to be selected.

About the Minoh Zero-Ichi Support Project

The 'Minoh Zero-Ichi Support Project' is an initiative designed to promote entrepreneurship within Minoh City and strengthen the business foundations of entrepreneurs in the early stages of operation.

Starting a business involves various challenges, including funding, market access, public relations, human resources, equipment, and business planning. Particularly during the pre- and post-launch phases, it can be difficult to determine 'what to prioritize,' 'how to organize a business plan,' or 'how to effectively utilize subsidies,' making it challenging to transform ideas and aspirations into concrete businesses.

To support entrepreneurs during these initial stages of startup and new ventures, this project combines management support with subsidy disbursement to enhance the feasibility of business ideas.

Unlike a simple subsidy program, a key feature is support in organizing business plans prior to application and ongoing accompaniment by the Minoh Chamber of Commerce after selection, including support for implementation and future development.

Support Offered

The project provides the following types of support:

- Consultations regarding starting a business or launching a new venture - Assistance in creating business plans - Organizing content for subsidy applications - Support for business implementation after selection - Management support regarding market expansion, public relations, financial planning, etc. - Ongoing follow-up after implementation

Individuals who have not yet started a business can consult even at an early stage when their business concept is not fully developed. We support the first step of organizing ideas into a business plan and moving toward execution.

Overview of the Subsidy

Main eligible expenses include machinery and equipment costs, PC and tablet costs, public relations costs, intellectual property rights acquisition costs, and outsourcing and commissioning fees.
