Citizen-Participatory Music Festival Becomes More Enjoyable! "The 15th Tachikawa Ittai Ongaku Matsuri 2026" to be Held

What is the Tachikawa Ittai Ongaku Matsuri? This event aims to fill the entire town of Tachikawa with music and bring vibrancy to the whole city by holding simultaneous live performances at squares and shops in Tachikawa City. It also seeks to create an experience where performers and audience become one, making music accessible to everyone. First held in 2012, this year marks the 15th edition, featuring approximately 220 artist groups across 13 venues in the city.

Highlights of this year's event To commemorate the milestone 15th edition, we will implement event plans that allow more people to enjoy: ・Street pianos, open stages, parades, cups, drum circles, and shaker making workshops that anyone can play. ・A chorus stage where visitors can also participate. ・"Stage for a Future with Passion" (Granduo Tachikawa rooftop), bringing together young performers with a wish for continuous hosting. ・"Ittai Children's Art Exhibition" (Granduo Tachikawa 8th floor), displaying drawings by local kindergarten children. And more.
