Highlights!

■ We have digitized ancient documents remaining in old families and temples, including the Sunagawa family, who served as the headman of Sunagawa Village, and also included images such as illustrations.

■ In addition to the conditions of the villages in the Sunagawa area during the Edo period, the book also contains abundant historical materials related to the 'Hawk Hunting Ground Custodian and Guide' and 'Aqueduct Patrol Officer' roles served by the Sunagawa family. This allows readers to learn about the management and daily life of the Owari Domain's hawk hunting grounds and the Tamagawa Aqueduct, which were widely involved in the Tama region.

■ A valuable image of the Sunagawa Village's large banner (from the first to fourth groups) from Man'en 1 (1860), newly discovered from the Sunagawa family, is also a highlight of this book's appendix.
