Fukuchiyama HANABI 2026: Fireworks Festival on August 11, 2026 – 6,000 Shells | Early Ticket Sales and Free Admission Campaign for 400 Local High School Students Starts June 15!

Lighting up the night sky of Fukuchiyama with emotion. The 'Fukuchiyama HANABI 2026' has been officially announced!

Theme: 'JOY HERE ~ Once again, right here, under this sky ~'

A beloved summer tradition in Fukuchiyama City, Kyoto Prefecture—a city rich in history and nature—this fireworks festival returns with heartfelt intent.

Revived with the wish to let today’s children experience the same beautiful spectacle once enjoyed by past generations, this year marks the third edition and will be co-hosted with Fukuchiyama City.

Expanding from last year, the 2026 event will feature 6,000 fireworks launched over 45 minutes, approximately 50 food stalls, special viewing areas at Fukuchiyama Castle, and participatory events like the Fukuchiyama Odori dance.

Experience the thrilling fireworks launched just across the river from the viewing areas.

<Ticket Types>

● Group Seat (Mat Seating): ¥10,000

Mat seating consists of blue tarpaulin laid on the ground, with each section measuring 3x3 meters—spacious enough for 5 to 7 people to sit comfortably. Up to 10 people may use one section, but please be considerate of neighboring guests.

●阶梯席 (Step Seating): ¥2,000 per person

Step seating is located on the concrete steps of the riverbank embankment. Each block (27m wide x 5 rows) accommodates 100 people on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are required for elementary school students and above. Preschool children may sit on laps for free; if a seat is needed, a ticket must be purchased.

Bus Tour from Osaka

The highlight of the tour is guaranteed access to premium paid riverside viewing seats, offering an up-close view of the spectacular fireworks. Step seating ensures comfort and cleanliness.

The tour bus is equipped with a toilet for comfort during traffic delays. Includes a 3-site pass for Fukuchiyama Castle, Fukureru, and the Sato Taisei Memorial Museum. Early bookers receive a special Tamba black soybean bread as a bonus!
