Also performing is WANIMA, a three-piece band from Kumamoto Prefecture who, in their 10 years since debut, have risen from live houses to dome one-man shows. Without stopping their momentum, their locally-held "1CHANCE FESTIVAL" in Kumamoto also celebrates its 5th anniversary this year. Denki Groove, who have been headlining major festivals and raves both domestically and internationally since their major debut in 1991, continue to be a major force at the forefront of the scene, now celebrating their 37th anniversary. KID FRESINO, who started as a member of the hip-hop unit FlashBackS with JJJ and Febb, made his solo debut in 2013 and later moved to the US. He began producing music with a band setup while living in NY in 2016, continuing to lead the scene with a unique worldview that transcends genres. KANA-BOON, a rock band from Sakai, Osaka, has dominated the Japanese rock scene with incredible momentum since their major debut in 2013, appearing at festivals nationwide. They have provided theme songs for numerous hit anime, achieving global hits that have reached audiences both in Japan and abroad. After a regrettable cancellation in 2023, they are finally coming to Azuma with a new lineup. Omoide Yaro A Team, a soul band formed at Tama Art University in the summer of 2009, has released four albums to date since their first album in 2015. Last year, they released an EP and gained attention when a cover of their representative song "Dance ni Maniau" was used as a drama theme. WHITE ASH, a band that gained popularity with their songs used in commercials after their major debut in 2013, disbanded in 2017. After individual activities, Nobita, Aya, and Yama-san have reunited this year, and the band will make its first appearance at this festival in Yama-san's hometown of Fukushima. These seven groups have been added as the second wave. As every year, the lineup is becoming eye-catching for its "exquisite arrangement" that disregards genre.
