Fukuoka City is promoting the "Engineer Friendly City Fukuoka" initiative in cooperation with engineers and companies, aiming to become a city where engineers gather, thrive, and grow.
We will honor engineer communities and companies that have contributed to the development of engineer community culture and the improvement of the environment surrounding engineers at the "Engineer Friendly City Fukuoka Award" scheduled to be held in October. Since its launch in fiscal year 2019, we have recognized over 20 excellent initiatives each in the "Community Division" and "Corporate Division."
Applications for both divisions will open on July 8 (Wed.), so please apply.

What is Engineer Friendly City Fukuoka?
Application Targets
(1) Community Division
Engineer communities based in Fukuoka City that actively conduct activities such as study groups and networking events for engineers and aspiring engineers (hereinafter referred to as "engineers"), contributing to the promotion of engineer interaction, revitalization of activities, and skill improvement.
(2) Corporate Division
Companies in Fukuoka City that are engaged in unique initiatives leading to skill improvement for engineers, promotion of the use of cutting-edge technologies such as AI, and support for community activities.

Decision of Awardees
The city will decide the awardees based on the evaluation results of an assessment committee composed of experts such as business leaders and academics.
