Last Year's Popular Special Event Returns! Fireworks Cruise on Mikata Goko Nature Cruise, July 18

This special program, offering a view of fireworks launched from the observation deck of a sightseeing boat, returns for its second year as "a new summer tradition in Maehama." Last year's "Fireworks Cruise" received more applications than available spots, with participants sharing feedback such as "The fireworks reflected on the lake surface were incredibly beautiful," "An experience you can't have anywhere else," and "Being able to see the fireworks up close was truly moving." The fireworks viewed from the quietly cruising, battery-powered sightseeing boat offer a calm and special atmosphere distinct from the lively festival grounds. With fireworks spreading across the night sky, their reflections shimmering on the lake surface, and—under favorable conditions—a starry sky overhead, this evening promises to become a deeply cherished summer memory in Maehama. As participation is limited to a small number of guests, interested individuals are encouraged to apply early and enjoy this new summer tradition in Maehama Town.

Important Notes

If canceling after being selected, a cancellation fee of 1,000 yen per person will be required via a payment slip sent by mail. If fireworks are postponed due to bad weather, the cruise will also be postponed. The cruise may be canceled due to strong winds or other adverse weather conditions. In the event of cancellation or changes, we will contact applicants using the contact information provided during registration.

About Mikata Goko Nature Cruise

"Mikata Goko Nature Cruise" is a sightseeing cruise that allows guests to experience the natural environment, topography, and historical culture of the Mikata Five Lakes, shaped over 200,000 years, directly from the boat. Guests can enjoy the unique landscape created by five lakes with varying salinity levels, the changing expressions of surrounding mountains across seasons, and learn about the rich ecosystem designated under the Ramsar Convention.
