What is R-LOOP?
R-LOOP is a new initiative by Bookoff Corporation and BP Lab Co., Ltd. to promote resource circulation by collecting unwanted clothing and used miscellaneous goods free of charge.
The collected clothing and miscellaneous goods are sorted at a domestic circular base and are then reused (reuse) or recycled (recycle).
With "Thorough Reuse, Thorough Recycle," we aim for a "Don't Throw Away" cycle that benefits ourselves, those around us, society, and the future.

Collection Boxes (Free Collection) Installed
Collection boxes have been installed on the 8th floor (Information Corner) of the building where our association is located (Yokohama Health and Welfare Center, 1-1 Sakuragicho, Naka-ku, Yokohama).
There are two types of collection boxes: [Clothing] and [Fashion Miscellaneous Goods, Household Miscellaneous Goods, Toys, etc.].
What Can and Cannot Be Collected
Various types of clothing can be collected, regardless of the manufacturer. Items that are significantly soiled, socks, underwear, innerwear, used masks, and school or company uniforms cannot be collected.
Household miscellaneous goods and hobbies, including toys and stuffed animals, can be collected if they fit in the box. Broken items, home appliances with electrical cords, items with built-in batteries, dangerous items such as knives, items that may ignite such as firearms, cosmetics, and liquids cannot be collected.
Also, once collected, items cannot be returned.
Amount Reused (Kg) x 1 Yen Becomes a Donation
For every kilogram (Kg) of items collected and reused in the boxes installed at our association, 1 yen will be donated to our association (Yoko-Kifu).
This system not only promotes the reuse of goods but also generates monetary donations, creating a cycle that benefits society.
For Items That Can Still Be Used
The Yokohama City Volunteer Center receives many inquiries about donating used clothing, stuffed animals, and other miscellaneous goods.
While these items are still usable, it is difficult to utilize them in welfare facilities, so we generally decline donations of used items.
This R-LOOP system will enable the effective utilization of items that we have previously had to decline.
In the future, we plan to install R-LOOP collection boxes throughout the city.
What is Yoko-Kifu?
Based on the concept of "In Yokohama, Right Next Door," Yoko-Kifu utilizes our association's donations and network to address issues that cannot be resolved by existing systems or services.
We aim to foster a sense of empathy by clearly communicating this initiative, and to realize a co-creative society and cultivate a culture of donation by collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
In December 2025, the Yoko-Kifu logo and name were registered as trademarks.
