Osaka Keisatsu Hospital Launches "Inochi no Mori" Crowdfunding Project!

Osaka Keisatsu Hospital (Location: Tennoji Ward, Osaka City) launched the "Inochi no Mori" crowdfunding project on Monday, May 11, 2026.

The purpose of this project is to improve the quality of resting and staying environments available to patients and their families, and to celebrate the finale of the new hospital project together with patients and local residents.

■ Project Background

Since its establishment in 1937, Osaka Keisatsu Hospital has provided medical care and emergency services as a medical institution responsible for regional healthcare. Currently, the construction of a new hospital is underway to build a medical system that responds to changes in regional needs. In the new hospital, the development of medical equipment, emergency systems, and research facilities is progressing sequentially, and these are largely in the completion phase.

Meanwhile, as an initiative to further enhance the functions of the new hospital, the development of a resting space for patients and their families is being considered. Specifically, it is a plan to install "Inochi no Mori" (Forest of Life), an outdoor/semi-outdoor space incorporating greenery, as an environment where patients undergoing treatment and accompanying families can spend time calmly. By developing spaces with natural light and cafe spaces where users can view the surrounding greenery, the aim is to improve the overall healing environment.

*Even if the total amount of support for this project does not reach the target amount by the deadline, the project will definitely be executed as described above, by supplementing the target amount with bank loans or self-funding.

*The grand opening of Inochi no Mori is scheduled for July 2027.

A total of 10 courses ranging from 3,000 yen to 3,000,000 yen.
*Depending on the support amount course, returns include "Activity Report," "Publication of your name on the hospital website," "Invitation to a hospital tour," "Publication of your name on the Inochi no Mori commemorative plaque," and "Direct letter of appreciation from the President and hospital executives."

Since its establishment in 1937, Osaka Keisatsu Hospital has faced the lives and health of everyone as a fortress of regional medical care. Currently, we are proceeding with the construction of a new hospital, and the development of medical equipment, emergency systems, and research environments is almost complete. However, a crucial step remains for the "completion of the new hospital" that we aim for.
It is the creation of "Inochi no Mori," a lush green resting place where patients undergoing treatment and their families can truly relax. We believe that time spent feeling nature in the sunlight filtering through the trees and calming the mind is part of medical care and a force for recovery.

Due to the recent surge in material costs, the construction costs have become significantly higher than initially anticipated. We decided to challenge crowdfunding, hoping to create this place together with everyone.
