The 22nd Sagamihara Eco Festival to Be Held on Sunday, June 28!

Sagamihara City will host the environmental event 'Sagamihara Eco Festival,' a collaborative initiative involving local citizens, businesses, universities, and the municipal government, on Sunday, June 28, Reiwa 8 (2026).

The 22nd edition of the festival will take place at 'Unicom Plaza Sagamihara' and 'Bono Plaza,' located near Odakyu Line's Sagamino Station. The event will feature a wide range of activities, including booth exhibitions showcasing various environmental conservation efforts and hands-on experiential programs.

In addition to stage performances such as the 'Super Science Magic Show' by Caramel Machine and the 'Fun Insect Show' by Insect Heroes, this year's festival will welcome over 30 participating groups. Attendees can enjoy workshops such as making coasters from discarded clothing, crafting with recycled wine pruning branches, and building electricity storage devices from charcoal. This annual event offers a unique opportunity to learn about environmental issues in an enjoyable way—please come and join us!
