[Thoughts Behind Galapagos]
The Galápagos Islands are believed to retain the earth's most ancient natural environments. We were inspired by the creatures of the Galápagos, which continue their own unique evolution even in such an environment.
This product is an ambitious sake that pursues evolution to new heights while utilizing the rich local nature and traditional techniques passed down since ancient times. This philosophy is one of Tamagawa Brewery's identities.
Tamagawa Brewery plans to develop the 'Galápagos Series' in the future, and Galápagos 4D is the first in the series.
[What is Sake that has Reached the 4th Dimension (4D)?]
Galápagos 4D uses four types of locally grown sake rice and four types of yeast with different characteristics. The master brewer (Toji) acutely brought out and sublimated the characteristics of everything from rice and yeast for Daiginjo (for competition) to those used for everyday evening sake.

Yeast Used: Mahoroba Gin Yeast, Hiroshima Ginjyo Yeast, Kyokai 701 Yeast, Kyokai 901 Yeast
