Edamame is cultivated by farmers within the JA Irumano service area (including Sayama City, Tokorozawa City, and Kawagoe City), and shipments are now at their peak. In particular, edamame varieties selected and shipped through consultation between JA and producers are sold under the 'Irumame' brand. 'Irumame' is a premium branded edamame that emphasizes taste and freshness, using freshness-preserving packaging materials. To prevent temperature rise and maintain quality, the top and sides of the shipping cardboard boxes are perforated to improve airflow, ensuring the product does not degrade. This careful attention to quality has established 'Irumame' as a trusted brand in the market. By mid-June, 'Irumame' shipments have reached their peak.

Sayama City is located at the edge of the Musashino and Iruma plateaus in southwestern Saitama Prefecture, about 40 kilometers from the capital region.
