[Sayama City, Saitama] Chikozan Park's Iris Garden Enters Beautiful Season. 'Iris Festival' to be Held on June 7th and 8th!

At the iris garden in Chikozan Park (561 Kashiwabara, Sayama City), a wide variety of irises, including Edo, Higo, and Ise strains, are planted, creating a vibrant contrast of colors such as purple, white, and yellow throughout the garden. Approximately 2,600 plants are blooming in the iris garden (approx. 2,600㎡), and approximately 1,200 plants are blooming in the iris field (approx. 600㎡) next to Kuzuryu Pond.

Blooming typically begins in late May, reaching its peak in mid-June. It is an excellent spot to leisurely feel the arrival of early summer, capturing photos of dew-kissed irises in the crisp morning air or enjoying sketching.

Aichi no Kagayaki

Furthermore, 'Aichi no Kagayaki' is a rare variety with pale yellow flowers. Its leaves are a lime color compared to other irises. It can be seen in both the iris field and the iris garden.

Get off at 'Sayamashi Station' on the Seibu Shinjuku Line. Take a route bus from the west exit of Sayamashi Station.
Take the Seibu Bus bound for 'Chikozan Park', get off at 'Chikozan Park', and walk about 20 minutes.
Take the Seibu Bus bound for 'Saiboku', get off at 'Uwajuku', and walk about 15 minutes.

Get off at 'Kasahata Station' on the JR Kawagoe Line. Take a route bus from Kasahata Station.
Take the Tobu Bus bound for 'Saiboku', get off at 'Saiboku', and walk about 15 minutes.
