The roses in the rose garden of the Chikozan Park Urban Greening Botanical Garden (622 Kashiwabara, Sayama City) are coming into full bloom.

The rose garden at the Urban Greening Botanical Garden is mainly composed of Hybrid Tea Roses (large-flowered, repeat-blooming), which have two peak blooming seasons in spring and autumn. The spring roses are characterized by their soft, voluminous flowers, creating a gorgeous atmosphere as if the entire rose garden is covered in blossoms. In addition to Hybrid Tea Roses, the botanical garden features a wide variety of about 80 types and 700 bushes, including Floribunda, Climbing, Miniature, Landscape, and English roses.

Many 'strongly fragrant' and 'moderately fragrant' varieties are planted along the pathways, allowing visitors to enjoy both the vibrant colors and sweet scents of the flowers.

As of May 13, the first peak of the spring roses has arrived.

Best time to see spring roses: From mid-May to mid-June *Please note that the parking lot will be very crowded.
