Genji Fireflies

On June 13 (Saturday) and 14 (Sunday), Chikozan Park Children's Zoo will host the event in front of the "Nature Observation Garden Firefly Cage" within Chikozan Park. The Children's Zoo breeds Genji fireflies and opens the cage for a limited time during the firefly season, aiming to allow visitors to observe the magical light of dancing fireflies.

The firefly cage is usually not accessible, but it will be open for entry only on these two days of the observation event. Many native Japanese Genji fireflies are released into the cage.

This time, to alleviate congestion, it will be a complete reservation system. Sales will be exclusively online via the reservation site "Asoview" starting May 13 (Wednesday) at 12:00 PM. We will confirm the ticket screen at the venue entrance. This is a chance to observe fireflies up close.
