FY2026 Automobile Assessment Awards Ceremony to be Held! ~Announcement of the Five Star Grand Prize~

On Thursday, May 28, 2026, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) and NASVA will hold the 'Automobile Assessment Awards Ceremony' to honor the vehicles that achieved outstanding results in the Automobile Assessment (Automobile Safety Performance 2025) conducted in FY2025. At the ceremony, we will announce and award the 'Automobile Safety Performance 2025 Five Star Grand Prize' (*), and exhibit the actual test vehicle used in the crash tests during the evaluation of the winning vehicle. (Pre-registration required for press members only) * The vehicle that obtained the highest score among those receiving the top rating in the relevant fiscal year. 1.
