NPO CLOUDY (Representative Director Hayato Doya, hereinafter "NPO CLOUDY"), which develops support and apparel businesses in Ghana, Africa, will hold the "Miyazaki Food and Agriculture Experience Tour" in Miyazaki Prefecture for two days from August 1 (Sat) to August 2 (Sun), 2026.

This tour goes beyond a simple harvest experience. It is a program where participants can touch the soil, hear the thoughts of producers, and consider the future of "food" together with farmers in Miyazaki who have long supported "CLOUDY FARM," which aims for self-sufficiency in Ghana.

Viewing of the "Miyazaki Bon Odori Fireworks Festival," where approximately 10,000 fireworks will be launched, is also planned for the evening. Furthermore, the "I'm NOT Perfect" event, the first of its kind in Miyazaki, will be held on July 31 (Fri), the day before the tour.

Change how you see eating, beyond "itadakimasu." A tour to experience Miyazaki with all five senses.

Why not have a "fruitful" experience this summer that can only be had in Miyazaki?

Harvest experiences including rice reaping, and harvesting cucumbers, grapes, eggplants, mangoes, and lychees. Touch the soil, hear the producers' thoughts, and taste what you harvested with your own hands.

It's a two-day experience that will make the "food" you casually eat every day feel a little more special.

In addition, we plan to view the "Miyazaki Bon Odori Fireworks Festival," a summer tradition in Miyazaki City where approximately 10,000 fireworks are launched at night, making it a program where you can fully enjoy the summer in Miyazaki, experiencing nature, people, and food.

Two days in Miyazaki that will change how you see eating. Beyond "itadakimasu."

Please join us for a special time to savor the joy of harvest, the thoughts of the producers, and the landscapes of the region with all five senses.

We sincerely look forward to your participation!

Encountering Miyazaki, Connecting with Ghana

NPO CLOUDY, with the philosophy of "Creating a future with choices and opportunities," is engaged in activities in Ghana, Africa, focusing on education, employment, and health.

In Ghana, there are many situations where reliance on imported vegetables is common due to distribution challenges, making it difficult to obtain fresh vegetables stably.

Therefore, we have been working on the "CLOUDY FARM project," where children learn the importance of food by growing their own vegetables and eating them.

While continuing these activities, we were introduced to a region with a climate similar to Ghana and where much knowledge, such as cultivation methods, could be shared, leading to our encounter with Miyazaki.

Since then, farmers in Miyazaki have been valuable partners for "CLOUDY FARM," which aims for self-sufficiency in Ghana, sharing their techniques and wisdom in field development and vegetable cultivation for many years.

This learning has crossed oceans to Ghana, leading to agricultural education where children grow their own vegetables and enjoy the harvested crops as school lunches.

In this tour, you will experience the cycle of "food and agriculture" connecting Japan and Ghana while touching upon Miyazaki's agriculture, the origin of this learning, and the thoughts of its producers. Every experience in Miyazaki connects to the future of Ghana—this is the unique tour offered by CLOUDY.

Highlights of this Tour

1 Ino Farm

A master farmer full of energy, unbelievable for 80 years old! Their pursuit of "deliciousness" using long-term experience and curiosity provides great learning for CLOUDY FARM's initiatives. This time, we will experience harvesting cucumbers and grapes grown without pesticides!

2 Sadohara Nasu Kenkyukai "Sadohara eggplant," a traditional vegetable passed down since the Edo period. It disappeared from the market after the war, but miraculously revived from just 4 seeds! Currently, local farmers carefully continue to save seeds and nurture it. It has a refreshing apple-like flavor when eaten raw and a melt-in-your-mouth texture when cooked. This time, we will harvest these miraculous eggplants!

3 Ichigo Potager A farm that cultivates various fruits, including strawberries, mangoes, lychees, and even pepper and cacao, utilizing the blessings of Miyazaki. Lychees, which we will experience harvesting this time. Domestic lychees are a very precious fruit, accounting for only 1% of what is on the market. No chemical fertilizers are used at all. We will experience harvesting rare lychees that are carefully grown for a year and can only be harvested for a few weeks!

4 78th Miyazaki Bon Odori Fireworks Festival

We plan to view the "Miyazaki Bon Odori Fireworks Festival," a summer tradition in Miyazaki City where approximately 10,000 fireworks are launched at night. (For those who wish to attend)

Report from the Previous Rice Planting Tour

In the CLOUDY Miyazaki Rice Planting Tour held in Spring 2026, we planted rice with a total of 120 people, including the team of Toshiaki Hirose, former captain of the Japan national rugby team and a director of NPO CLOUDY.

In addition to rice planting, we implemented a program to experience Miyazaki's rich nature and food culture with the cooperation of local farmers and producers.

In Japan, continuing agriculture itself is becoming difficult. Aging population, lack of successors, increase in abandoned farmland (degraded land), and the resulting regional issues.

We held an experience tour not to let it end as "just a farmer's problem," but to "transform the challenges faced by agriculture into exciting experiences" by engaging with them and learning about them.

Voices from Previous Tour Participants (Excerpts from survey)

- "This rice planting gave me an opportunity to learn about and think about the existence of abandoned farmland."

- "I hope that the experience of spending time with people who are positively engaged with food, work, and social issues will become a wonderful memory in life for these sensitive children."

Organization Introduction

NPO CLOUDY

"Every time you wear color, the world begins to move."

A place that continues to create that "moving world."

NPO CLOUDY was established in 2010 and is an organization that tackles social issues in Africa with a focus on education, employment, and health.

Based in Ghana, Africa, we engage in the following community-based support activities while listening to local voices:

- Educational support through the construction and operation of schools

- Employment creation through the construction and training of sewing factories

- Health support, including school lunch provision and sex education

What we aim for is not "aid given," but "aid created together."

Through collaboration with a business company (DOYA Inc.), we emphasize fostering self-reliance in Africa by establishing employment and education systems locally.

We aim for a structure where support and business circulate, and society itself "starts moving" sustainably.

We will continue to move for the future of every person living under the same sky.
