NPO Unleash (Representative: Yuka Kanazawa) will launch the "CareCareer ~ Being a parent, being me ~" project nationwide starting in 2026, aimed at supporting the employment of families raising children who require medical care and children with disabilities.
To build a sustainable operational foundation for this project, we have started recruiting 50 continuous donors, "Partners."

🔳 A social issue of "Wanting to work but unable to"
Living with medical care means living alongside 24-hour tension.
Daily care, preparing for sudden changes, hospital visits, and accompaniments.
As a result, many families are forced to "leave their jobs" and lose their connection with society.
Wanting to work but unable to
Able to work, but unable to continue
Careers are interrupted, and anxiety about the future increases
Furthermore, the regular employment rate for mothers raising children with disabilities is said to be about 5%, showing a significant gap compared to general child-rearing households (about 34%).
This situation creates not only economic difficulties but also a decline in self-esteem and isolation, spreading a sense of resignation in society that "it's impossible anyway."
🔳 Project Overview
For the past 7 years, Unleash has been working to eliminate isolation and create connections with society through the provision of information and peer support to families of children requiring medical care.
Since fiscal 2024, as a business commissioned by local governments, we have been implementing a Parent Mentor project that closely supports families of children and adults with medical care needs regarding their employment and childcare concerns, providing consultation support to over 60 people annually.
"CareCareer" was launched based on these achievements.
This project is a challenge to expand the "peer support system" nationwide.
By building a mechanism to utilize the experiences of those affected as a "job," and through:
- Online employment consultations
- Nationwide expansion of the peer support system
- Hands-on support to sustain both employment and childcare
We aim to realize "a society where choosing to work while carrying care responsibilities is a natural option."

🔳 To Unleash Chapter 2: Nationwide expansion of the model case
At its 5th-anniversary planning, Unleash set a goal of "turning the system where the affected support the affected into a job."
Since then, after two years of initiatives, it has now grown to the point where more than 10 affected family members are involved in our organization's activities as a "job."
This project is positioned as "Chapter 2," expanding that initiative nationwide.
🔳 Addressing "Care" issues relevant to everyone
The challenge of "balancing care and work" faced by households with children requiring medical care is a common theme for everyone who will face nursing care or illness in the future.
The "CareCareer" advocated by Unleash redefines care not as a "constraint" but as a "value," presenting it to society as a model for a new way of working.

🔳 About the Recruitment of Continuous Donation Partners
This project is being launched in 2026 with a grant sponsored by Kao Corporation.
A stable financial foundation is required to continuously deliver this project nationwide without letting it end as a one-off event.
Unleash is recruiting 50 "Partners" who will support us through monthly donations.
The donations will be utilized for the operation of the consultation business, human resource development, and strengthening of information dissemination, supporting the realization of "a society where you don't have to give up."
We have prepared the following benefits for everyone who donates.
