■ Project Background
The activities of Otera Oyatsu Club began in 2013, triggered by a mother-child starvation incident that occurred in Osaka.
Starting from a small temple in Nara, this initiative has now grown into a network of over 2,300 temples and over 1,000 support organizations nationwide, supporting more than 20,000 single-parent households. During the COVID-19 pandemic, an anonymous delivery system was introduced, continuing the activity of safely, easily, and quickly delivering shared items to children.
However, the IT system supporting these activities is now reaching its limits. The system, primarily developed and operated by local students in Nara, has become increasingly complex due to years of feature additions and generational changes, making stable operation difficult. The situation is urgent: "We are connected with families seeking support. We also have hand-me-downs. Yet, if the system reaches its limits, we will no longer be able to deliver these shared items."

■ This Challenge: Rebuilding the System Itself
In response to this situation, Otera Oyatsu Club has decided on a fundamental reconstruction of its IT system, the largest since its inception. They have partnered with "Litaworks Co., Ltd.," a company specializing in system development for non-profit organizations, to develop a new system that considers future maintenance, operation, and expansion.
Rebuilding the system is not merely about efficiency. It is a challenge to increase the possibilities and options in society, creating more opportunities where people can say, "I can ask Otera Oyatsu Club for help."

■ How Your Support Will Be Used (Target 5 Million Yen)
Your support will be primarily used for the following initiatives:

Design/Development/Testing of a new core system (test release within the year, formal operation start within the fiscal year)
System design to enable easier and faster delivery of shared items
Collection/analysis of feedback from families receiving shared items (to improve the quality of support)

■ Envisioned Future
If one musters the courage to say "help me," they can connect with someone. Anyone, from anywhere, can access support without depending on a specific place or status. As these experiences accumulate, the feeling of "it's okay to rely on someone" will become a social norm.
To eliminate the situation of "wanting to deliver but being unable to," and to create a mechanism for connecting shared items to the future. For the realization of a mutual aid society where people can feel "happy to rely on others, and happy to be relied upon," we kindly ask for your support.
