Setouchi City, Okayama Prefecture, has signed an agreement with RSK Sanyo Broadcasting Co., Ltd. concerning the broadcasting of information on disasters and disaster prevention during emergencies, and disaster prevention measures during normal times.

We will continue to promote public-private collaboration and aim to create a sustainable and attractive Setouchi City.

Background to the Agreement

In recent years, natural disasters have tended to occur with increasing frequency, and their scale and impact have also expanded, causing damage that exceeds previous expectations. In such circumstances, it is an important responsibility of local governments to establish a system that can respond quickly and accurately during disasters from normal times.

Through the signing of this agreement, we aim to build a system for disseminating information on disaster prevention and mitigation awareness activities and disaster prevention measures during both disaster emergencies and normal times, thereby contributing to the peace of mind and safety of our citizens.
