Eiseki Shosha Co., Ltd. (EISEKI SHOSHA CO., LTD) has released a report detailing the functional design and gameplay of the 'SPYRA FOUR,' the 2026 model of the German smart water gun brand 'SPYRA,' in conjunction with the project's launch week on Makuake.
The SPYRA FOUR is an electric water blaster equipped with five shooting modes, three game modes, a 2-inch display UI, and an automatic water refill function.
Rather than a simple leisure item just for spraying water, this product is proposed as an 'outdoor game gear' where players choose modes, consider distance and timing, and play under rules agreed upon with family and friends.

Why It Is Not Just a 'Standard Water Gun'
Conventional water guns have long been popular as simple leisure items for continuously spraying water.
In contrast, the SPYRA FOUR is an electric water blaster that utilizes Single Shot Technology, allowing players to aim and shoot one shot at a time. Beyond just shooting water, it is characterized by allowing players to select modes, check remaining shots, and play while strategizing based on distance and timing relative to opponents.
For this reason, SPYRA FOUR is positioned not as a tool for splashing water on each other, but as a recreational gear with game-like elements that can be enjoyed by establishing rules outdoors.
Five Shooting Modes: Selecting the Shooting Style
The SPYRA FOUR is equipped with five shooting modes: Open, Burst, Storm, Power, and Rage.
Open Mode is the standard shooting mode, delivering stable shots through trigger operations. Burst Mode delivers short sequential shots with a single trigger pull. Storm Mode is designed for rapid, continuous shooting.
Power Mode allows players to charge the shot by holding down the trigger and releasing it with precise timing. Rage Mode varies the speed of the shots depending on how long the trigger is held down.
In this way, the SPYRA FOUR is designed so players can select their shooting style according to how they want to play—whether shooting at a fast tempo in close quarters, using burst fire at mid-range, or taking precise aim from a distance.
This also makes it easy to assign roles to each player. For instance, players can adopt different playstyles even with the same device: one focusing on tempo at close range, another using burst fire at mid-range, and another aiming from a distance.
Three Game Modes: Building Rules and Strategies
The SPYRA FOUR features three game modes: League, Risk, and React.
League Mode is a tactical mode incorporating concepts of ammunition count and reloading strategies. Risk Mode introduces a probability element where shots may or may not fire when the trigger is pulled. React Mode varies the intensity of the shot based on timing.
With these modes, SPYRA FOUR enables play that incorporates rules, reaction speed, timing, and psychological strategy, rather than simple water fighting.
For example, when playing with family or friends, players can set their own rules, such as 'returning to the refill station once remaining shots are depleted,' 'determining the winner by the number of hits within a time limit,' or 'playing quick matches using only Risk Mode.'
Automatic Refill and 2-Inch UI: Seamless Design to Minimize Play Interruptions
The SPYRA FOUR can automatically refill water by submerging the front nozzle in water. According to the Makuake project page, the automatic refill takes approximately 10 to 12 seconds.
The device is equipped with a 2-inch display UI, allowing players to operate while checking the selected mode and status.
With conventional water guns, play was frequently interrupted during refills. The SPYRA FOUR aims to streamline the flow from refilling, checking modes, and returning to play through its automatic refill and display UI.
Additionally, by designating the water supply area as a 'refill point,' tactical elements can be added to gameplay in gardens or campsites.
