Minakuchi Shuzo Ranked 6th as 'Best Brewery' at Kura Master 2026 in France

Minakuchi Shuzo, founded in 1895 and the only brewery in Matsuyama's Dogo district, achieved 6th place in the 'Best Brewery' category at Kura Master 2026 in France. Out of 1,083 entries, all six of the brewery's submitted sake brands received either Platinum or Gold awards. Notably, 'NIKITATSU2024 Junmai Daiginjo' secured the prestigious Platinum award, representing the top 9.6% of its category. Evaluated by top European sommeliers, this recognition highlights the brewery's technical excellence and the international appeal of its traditional craftsmanship combined with local innovations like Sakura-hime yeast.
