7th YOKOSUKA e-Sports CUP 'VALORANT' High School Tournament Held! Calling for Participants for National e-Sports Tournament Hosted by Yokosuka City

Yokosuka City will host the 7th 'YOKOSUKA e-Sports CUP,' a national e-sports tournament for high school students. The featured game is the popular 5v5 tactical shooter 'VALORANT.' This year introduces a new two-division system: a 'ROOKIE Division' for beginners and an 'ELITE Division' for advanced players to compete for the top. The ELITE Division finals will be held offline at the Ichigo Yokosuka Port Market, and the top 4 teams will be invited to Yokosuka City. Popular game caster Taiga Kishi has been appointed as the tournament ambassador. Entries are open until July 5 for Rookies and July 12 for Elites. Yokosuka City continues to support e-sports through various regional and educational initiatives.
