'THE LAST STORE®︎' [Tenjo Tenge Yuiga Dokuson] - Main Visual for the Custom Order Event for 'Special Photochromic Lenses' That Transform for You.
'THE LAST STORE®' (Last Store), a specialty store for vintage eyewear, led by the Okamoto brothers, founders of <SOLAKZADE®︎> in Harajuku. Last Store, which offers over 10,000 pairs of vintage eyewear, is teaming up with 'KODAK Lenses,' which creates photochromic lenses through hand-dyeing.
A special event where you can order unique, one-of-a-kind lenses for your one-of-a-kind vintage eyewear will be held for one week from July 8 to July 14 at the Hankyu Umeda Main Store, 1st floor.
A special processing facility (lab) will be set up at the venue. Artisans in white coats will craft the lenses right before your eyes in a complete live format, delivering a unique eyewear experience.

[The Okamoto Brothers Talk About Their Thoughts on 'Photochromic Lenses']
Dark outdoors, light indoors or at night. The true value of photochromic lenses, which act as 'another form of makeup' to enhance skin tone, is not yet widely known.
At Last Store, stylists who are also historians and artisans have been proposing frames from over 10,000 pairs of vintage eyewear that best suit guests and empower their potential.
At this trunk show, we will further perfect the lens color that dramatically enhances each individual's skin in a one-on-one consultation.
The phrase 'Tenjo Tenge Yuiga Dokuson' in the title is often misunderstood to mean 'I am the only one who is great,' implying arrogance. However, its original meaning is 'everyone has unique potential and is precious.' We want people to re-recognize their inner power in the important area of self-expression, their face.
Eyewear with intention will transform your expression, and even your way of life. Please experience this moment of transformation at the venue.

[Three Experiences at This Event]
1. [10,000 Pairs of Vintage Eyewear]
What makes the experience at Last Store special is that professional stylists can propose vintage frames that suit you from an enormous collection. From the vintage collection selected from the past 200 years of history, we will propose not only frames but also lens colors that match your skin tone, using photochromic lenses.

2. [Live Lens Processing Performance]
A special processing facility (lab) will be set up at the venue, where artisans in white coats will perform the lens processing steps, usually done in the back, live before your eyes. You can experience with all five senses the process of a pair of sunglasses coming to life.

3. [Kodak Photochromic Lenses]
They become sunglasses with a 'dark color in bright outdoor light' and maintain a 'light color indoors or at night,' acting as 'another form of makeup' to enhance skin tone.
What sets Kodak's photochromic lenses apart is that you can customize the tint color from 'your favorite color to your favorite color.' We offer a wide variety of 'photochromic lenses' that instantly change concentration in response to ultraviolet (UV) rays.
Witness the 'makeup effect' and 'moment of transformation' through eyewear, which cuts through the fierce summer sun while dramatically refining your facial impression with lens colors.
