(hereinafter "freee") to launch a campaign for "freee Invoice Card Payment" aimed at supporting business operators' cash flow.

As part of its cash flow support for registered business operators, Zehitomo has launched a campaign for "freee Invoice Card Payment." This service aims to alleviate the burden of upfront expenses such as material and outsourcing costs, thereby supporting the smooth operation of businesses.

Background of This Initiative

Cash Flow Challenges Evident in the Construction Industry

Zehitomo conducted a survey on business operations targeting 1,227 registered business operators (866 in construction, 361 in other industries).

The results revealed that while cash flow challenges were observed across all industries, they were particularly pronounced among construction business operators compared to other sectors.

Among the 866 construction business operators surveyed, 57.5% reported anxiety about cash flow.

Furthermore, 33.6% cited "out-of-pocket expenses for large projects" and 32.4% cited "delays in payments/difficulty managing uncollected receivables," highlighting significant cash flow issues.

Additionally, 79.8% use bank transfers as their payment method. This indicates a specific financial burden in the construction industry where payments for materials and outsourcing costs are made upfront, while sales revenue is received only after project completion.

These findings clearly show a high demand for mechanisms to support cash flow after receiving orders among construction business operators.

While cash flow challenges were particularly evident in the construction industry, these issues are common themes for business operators across all industries. Therefore, Zehitomo has launched "freee Invoice Card Payment" for all registered business operators.

About the Zehitomo x freee "Invoice Card Payment" Campaign

"freee Invoice Card Payment" is a service that allows businesses to switch payments for invoices, typically made via bank transfer, to credit card payments. When a business operator registers invoice information, payments to their business partners are handled on their behalf, and the user can make payments according to their credit card's payment due date.

This allows for payment extensions of up to 60 days and can be used for payments to business partners who do not accept credit cards, such as material suppliers and subcontractors. No dedicated card is required, and the service can be used from the same day at the earliest.

Furthermore, during the campaign period, the equivalent of the usage fee (3%) will be returned as "Z Coins," points usable within Zehitomo, allowing for virtually no-cost service usage.

Payments Can Be Postponed for Up to 60 Days

By keeping funds on hand until the credit card payment due date, the burden of upfront expenses such as material and outsourcing costs can be reduced.

Usable for Business Partners Who Do Not Accept Cards

Can be used for business partners, such as material suppliers and subcontractors, to whom payments can normally only be made via bank transfer.

Usable from the Same Day at the Earliest

No card issuance is necessary. It can be easily used with your current credit card.

Effectively Fee-Free During the Campaign Period
