UK Corporation will open a new Spacelab self-storage facility, the Hiroshima Kure store, on June 1, 2026. Located at 2-7-1 Nakadori, Kure City, Hiroshima, it's a 10-minute walk from JR Kure Line's Kure Station. Spacelab operates over 700 locations and 22,000 units, primarily in Tokyo and Osaka, offering solutions for limited urban living space. The service is fully contactless, from viewing to contracting and cancellation, all completable online. Users can start using their unit in as little as one hour after application. This model also aims to address the social issue of vacant properties by renovating them into storage facilities. The new store is launching with a special discount campaign.
