TOKAI COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION (Head Office: Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, President and CEO: Tsuyoshi Takahashi, hereinafter referred to as "TOKAI") is pleased to announce that it has signed a reseller agreement, the "Anthropic Authorized Reseller Program for Amazon Bedrock," with US AI company Anthropic, PBC (hereinafter referred to as "Anthropic").

Through this agreement, TOKAI will begin offering the AI model "Claude in Amazon Bedrock, powered by Anthropic" (hereinafter referred to as "Claude") via Amazon Web Services' (AWS) generative AI service, "Amazon Bedrock," starting July 1, 2026.

TOKAI views this agreement as a significant step towards addressing the needs and challenges of AI adoption for businesses. We will provide a secure AI utilization platform and support customers in using Claude safely and effectively, from implementation to operation.

Background of the Agreement

While the utilization of generative AI is entering a practical phase, companies face numerous challenges, including concerns about safety and reliability, the establishment of implementation systems, and the handling of confidential data.

Anthropic's "Claude" is a suite of large language models with safety as a core design principle, boasting high Japanese language capabilities and excellent reasoning performance. Offering it through Amazon Bedrock enables companies to incorporate AI into their business processes while ensuring the necessary security and governance.

TOKAI has signed this reseller agreement with Anthropic to comprehensively support secure AI utilization, leveraging its expertise in providing IT solutions.
