This marks the first time a private general corporation in Chiba Prefecture has received this certification.

The 'Venue for Experiential Opportunities' is a certification system that recognizes facilities providing opportunities to deepen environmental understanding through nature experiences and environmental conservation activities, enabling participants to gain rich learning through all five senses. With this certification, the company aims to further strengthen collaboration with local communities, educational institutions, and businesses, contributing to the realization of a sustainable society by creating experiential opportunities to learn about nature and resource circulation.

About the Ministry of the Environment's 'Venue for Experiential Opportunities' Certification System

The certification system allows land or buildings owned or leased by organizations to be officially recognized by prefectural governors or designated city mayors upon application, provided they are used as venues for experiential activities such as nature or social experiences.

The purpose is to publicly list certified venues online, facilitating access for individuals seeking to participate in nature or social experience programs.

About Shiburu no Oka

Our core business is resource circulation. However, a circular society is not sustained by resource recycling alone. It is supported by rich natural environments that sustain people's lives and local communities. As a company committed to resource circulation, we believe it is essential to convey the importance of our connection with nature and environmental conservation.

Since 2021, Shiburu no Oka has been developed from scratch by our employees as a physical manifestation of this vision.
