Tancee Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Masaya Nishi), which operates a platform specializing in foreign talent, has successfully completed a seed round of 45 million JPY in funding, with Incubate Fund Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Partners: Toru Akaura, Masahiko Honma, Keisuke Wada, Yusuke Murata, Paul McInerney) as the lead investor.
This funding will accelerate business development and strengthen the recruitment system to address structural issues in the specified skilled worker market, promoting support for workplaces facing a severe labor shortage.

■ Background and Purpose of Funding
The decline in Japan's working population is becoming severe, with a projected shortage of 11 million workers by 2040. The shortage is particularly pronounced in essential worker/blue-collar sectors such as nursing care, food and beverage manufacturing, and agriculture. The utilization of the "Specified Skilled Worker" system, which accepts foreign talent with certain expertise and skills, is highly anticipated as a key solution.

However, the current specified skilled worker market is inefficient and fragmented, with a proliferation of recruitment agencies and registered support organizations, hindering the accumulation of talent and data. Furthermore, accepting companies are forced to outsource complex mandatory support to external organizations, with high cost burdens becoming a barrier to recruitment.

Tancee aims to solve these two challenges: "opaqueness in matching" and "operational costs after acceptance," striving to become an infrastructure for both hiring companies and foreign talent.

Our company goes beyond the conventional framework of recruitment agencies and registered support organizations, deploying a unique two-tiered product that digitizes both matching and mandatory support. My interest in this field began with a simple awareness of the problem: "I want to solve Japan's labor shortage." However, after traveling to various Asian countries and speaking directly with people who wished to work in Japan, my perspective changed. What I found there was not just a need for employment, but a "strong will" to change their lives and the "Japanese Dream" as a hope for the future. On the other hand, the foreign talent sector still largely relies on analog and person-dependent operations, leaving significant inefficiencies in the process from recruitment to retention.
We will mechanize "recruitment, procedures, support, and retention" in an integrated manner, centered on AI and DX, to enable companies to continue their challenges and create an environment where workers' intentions are rewarded.
