HATAGO, a fragrance brand that designs Japanese regional culture through scent, will hold a limited-time POP UP event titled "HATAGO: Kamakura Scents Perfumed in Paris" at Ginza Tsutaya Books (GINZA SIX 6F) from July 2 (Thu) to July 30 (Thu). This marks the second time the event will be held at Ginza Tsutaya Books and the first POP UP since the brand's initial launch of its Eau de Parfum.

This POP UP will feature HATAGO's scent collection themed around Kamakura, Shichirigahama, Inamuragasaki, Yuigahama, and Enoshima, which form the brand's first chapter. Following the release of the Eau de Parfum, this POP UP will be the first to display and sell HATAGO's full lineup, including Eau de Parfum, Fragrance Diffusers, and Fragrance Mists.

About "HATAGO"

HATAGO is a fragrance brand that designs Japanese regional culture through scent.

The name "HATAGO" (旅籠) embodies the meaning of transforming one's home into a traveler's inn through the scent of "travel memories."

In its first chapter, the brand focuses on regional characteristics where history and new culture merge. It verbalizes the essence of each seaside town in Kamakura (Kamakura, Shichirigahama, Inamuragasaki, Yuigahama, Enoshima) and reflects it as scent.

The brand is led by founder and creative director Daisuke Noguchi. Starting with the desire to share the scenery viewed from Inamuragasaki, Kamakura, where his family home was, with the world, he captures the atmosphere embedded in the terrain, customs, and people's lives, expressing the "unique air of the place" as scent.

The fragrances were created in collaboration with Paris-based perfumer Jean-Michel Duriez, who has crafted numerous famous scents, and Yuta Watanabe, known as the perfume creator for çanoma. They verbalize the emotions and culture of various regions in Japan and weave them into scents. This is the new form of travel that HATAGO aims for.

The flagship shop "HATAGO KAMAKURA" on Yuigahama Dori in Kamakura offers an experience of enjoying Kamakura through scent, providing new experiential value to many Kamakura enthusiasts.
