■ Overview
Spinel Inc. (Head Office: 2-11-6 Himonya, Meguro-ku, Tokyo 152-0003, Representative: Yuto Higobashi) has launched an experiential tour business called "PRIMAL." As its first offering, it will start selling a 1-night, 2-day hunting experience tour (Price: 40,000 yen/person) in collaboration with "Damonomichi," a group of hunters (Representative: Hiroshi Hara) in the Ikawa district of Nachikatsuura Town, Higashimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture.

■ Background | In an era where "receiving life" has become invisible
Processed meat and filleted fish neatly arranged on supermarket shelves. In modern urban life, the process of how food reaches our tables has become almost entirely invisible. On the other hand, damage from wildlife (such as boars and deer causing agricultural damage) is becoming serious in rural areas, and many captured animals are disposed of without being utilized as resources.
"PRIMAL" was created to bridge these two distances. Entering the mountains, checking traps, witnessing the final kill, dismembering, and savoring the meal. By experiencing this entire process with active hunters, "PRIMAL" provides a place to understand the act of "receiving life" not conceptually but physically.

■ First Partner | Damonomichi (Ikawa District, Wakayama Prefecture)
"Damonomichi" is a hunter unit based in the Ikawa district of Nachikatsuura Town, Wakayama Prefecture, consistently handling trap hunting, dismemberment, and game meat provision. Representative Hiroshi Hara studied animal husbandry at Kagoshima University, researching wild boar damage countermeasures for his graduation thesis. At 22, he returned to Ikawa, his hometown, and began activities aiming to "turn wildlife damage into regional resources instead of just letting it end as damage." He also serves as the chairman of the Ikawa Wildlife Damage Countermeasure Council, working on regional wildlife damage countermeasures.
The Ikawa district is a rare settlement with a population of about 330 people, with approximately 40% of residents being immigrants, and retains landscapes of steep mountains and terraced rice fields.
