Experiential Event Thinking About the Future with Red Pandas: 'Red Panda Festival' to be Held at Shibuya Hikarie

The zoo and aquarium exploration media 'wizoo,' operated by SHINME Co., Ltd. (CEO: Yo Takano), and the general incorporated association RED PANDA NETWORK JAPAN will hold the 'Red Panda Festival.' This event will take place over two days, from July 25 (Sat) to July 26 (Sun), 2026, at Shibuya Hikarie 8/COURT. Under the theme 'When you think of pandas, think of red pandas!', the festival will feature merchandise sales and stage events related to red pandas. The goal is to spark interest in red pandas and the RED PANDA NETWORK JAPAN, deepen understanding of biodiversity conservation, and provide an opportunity to reflect on the relationship between humans and nature. Red pandas are rare wild animals inhabiting the Himalayan region, including Nepal. Currently, their population is declining due to habitat loss and fragmentation caused by environmental changes and human activity. RED PANDA NETWORK JAPAN, the Japanese branch of the non-profit organization established in the US in 2007, works with local communities on habitat conservation and outreach. SHINME / wizoo, with the theme of 'Opening the value of nature, biodiversity, and local culture to society,' has been communicating efforts regarding species conservation and animal welfare. This event aims to create a space to open up conservation culture to society through 'learning' and 'thinking' experiences. The venue will host sales booths for red panda-related goods by designers and creators, as well as stage events including talk sessions, bingo games, and auctions.
