(Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masaru Tange; Prime Market of TSE: 3697; hereinafter 'SHIFT'), which supports clients in creating successful software services and products, announced that it has provided artworks by its affiliated artist, Sota Niimura, including 'Herringbone', 'Blue Heart', 'Shoebill', 'Cat', 'Rabbit', and 'Cabbage White Butterfly', and created promotional designs using these works for the '5th Hamagin Action Program to Create the Future ~Call for Organizations Supporting Children's Future~' hosted by Yokohama Bank (Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President: Tatsuya Kataoka; hereinafter 'Yokohama Bank').

Background and Overview of This Initiative

SHIFT promotes human capital management, viewing each employee's talents and strengths as growth drivers regardless of background such as education, career, or disability. The company began employing people with disabilities in 2015, and in 2019 established a specialized department, the Business Support Division, with the mission of 'Realizing a society where everyone can thrive by utilizing their talents and abilities'. This division works on hiring and creating opportunities for employees with disabilities. The division runs an 'Art Project' that supports creative activities of employees with disabilities. As part of this initiative, SHIFT provided artworks by its affiliated artist from the Art Project, and designers from the same division created the promotional designs.

Going forward, SHIFT will continue to promote the discovery of diverse talents and creation of opportunities through the Art Project, and expand co-creation with companies and regions through the provision of artworks and creative production using them, thereby supporting the expression of creativity throughout Japanese society.

About the 'Hamagin Action Program to Create the Future ~Call for Organizations Supporting Children's Future~'

The 'Hamagin Action Program to Create the Future ~Call for Organizations Supporting Children's Future~' is an initiative by Yokohama Bank to contribute to solving regional social issues by providing grants to NPOs that operate primarily in Kanagawa Prefecture. The 5th edition is calling for applications from NPOs that support 'children facing difficulties' towards achieving the sustainable society envisioned by the SDGs.

About the Promotional Design

This time, SHIFT created a promotional flyer to be distributed at approximately 150 branches of Yokohama Bank and other locations, as well as three types of digital signage design data to be displayed at the bank's branches and other venues. The design features a bright and positive look, using the artwork 'Herringbone' by affiliated artist Sota Niimura as a background pattern, while incorporating motifs from 'Blue Heart', 'Shoebill', 'Cat', 'Rabbit', and 'Cabbage White Butterfly'.
