Background: The Challenges of "Difficulty Reading" and "Difficulty Finding" PR Magazines

Municipal PR magazines (referred to as "koho-shi" in some municipalities) are one of the most basic means of delivering administrative information to residents. However, traditional digital book formats present challenges such as:

Information on a single page is too dense for small smartphone screens, making it difficult to read.

Lack of keyword search makes it difficult to find desired articles.

These issues have made it particularly difficult for younger generations and individuals who find it hard to read paper PR magazines to access information.

Osaka City's "Osaka City DX Strategy Action Plan" advocates for the realization of Service DX and is working to optimize information dissemination. Konohana Ward Office and the Company share these concerns and have entered into this agreement to deliver ward administrative information clearly and effectively to ward residents.

Overview of POTETO Smart Koho

Signing Ceremony

On July 2, 2026, a signing ceremony for the agreement was held at the Konohana Ward Office, Osaka City, where Konohana Ward Mayor Masato Nakajima and our President and CEO Kento Fujita signed the agreement.

Comment from Konohana Ward Mayor Masato Nakajima

In today's information-saturated era, I believe the key to ward administrative information is whether it can capture attention within 3 seconds and be understood. Traditional digital books were difficult to read, and when we were considering how to address this, we received this proposal, which was a truly welcome opportunity. Public relations and information dissemination are highly specialized fields, and it is essential to collaborate with private sector expertise and resources, rather than relying solely on administrative efforts. Together with the team at POTETO Design, we will work to deliver information that truly reaches ward residents.

Comment from our President and CEO Kento Fujita

Administrative bodies possess a wealth of important information, such as systems and subsidies, yet it often fails to reach residents simply because they "didn't know it existed." We founded our company with the desire to solve this problem and operate with the mission of "making administration easy to understand." We are deeply honored to share this sense of challenge with Mayor Nakajima and the staff at the Konohana Ward Office, and to collaborate in Konohana Ward, the host of the Osaka-Kansai Expo. We will dedicate our full efforts to realizing information dissemination that effectively reaches ward residents.

Future Developments

Based on this agreement, we will proceed with a demonstration experiment on the digitalization of the Konohana Ward PR magazine to improve how residents receive information. Our company will continue to collaborate with municipalities nationwide to ensure administrative information reaches everyone.
