PLAYING DESIGN Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Miyakojima-ku, Osaka; Representative: Yusuke Fujita) will grand open 'Baseball Dugout' on Saturday, June 20, 2026, in Kitakagaya, Suminoe-ku, Osaka, an area transforming from an old warehouse district into a creative town.
This facility is equipped with state-of-the-art ball flight monitors used by major league teams. It aims to serve as a new hub for regional revitalization by providing a scientific training environment and serving as a 'third place' where children can freely enjoy sports in an era where ball games are often restricted.
1. Facility Features [Advanced Training Equipment] The 'Rapsodo PRO 2.0' (distributor: Rapsodo Japan Co., Ltd.), used in professional baseball and golf, is installed for public use. By visualizing trajectory and performance levels, it helps transform 'feelings' into 'numerical data' to support growth. *The 'HitTrax' ball measurement machine (distributor: Hunet Co., Ltd.) is also scheduled for future installation.
[Creating a 'Third Place'] The facility will be open for free to elementary and junior high school students during non-reserved times. In this safe, air-conditioned environment, children can fully immerse themselves in ball games. Parents are welcome to accompany them free of charge.
[Entertainment] The facility features a ~200-inch large screen and a bar counter, and serves as a cafe. It will regularly hold public viewings for sports like NPB, MLB, soccer, and racing, allowing people to share the joy of not just 'playing' but 'watching' sports. Admission is free with a one-drink requirement.
