Record Crowd of 3,240! Angkor Tiger FC Ends 2025 Season in 3rd Place, Gears Up for League Title and ACL2 Next Season

Angkor Tiger FC, based in Siem Reap, Cambodia, held its final match of the 2025 season on May 17, 2026.

The club recorded a new stadium high of 3,240 spectators for the match, bringing the season total to 32,971, the second-highest in the league. Angkor Tiger FC secured 3rd place in the league and received three honors at the season awards: 'Fan Engagement Award' (the club that entertained fans the most), 'Best Player Award' (two players selected), and the 'Fair Play Award.'

Guided by the mission 'to become a symbol of dreams, hope, and courage for Cambodia,' the club is already preparing for the next season. To achieve the goals of 'winning the league' and 'participating in ACL2 (AFC Champions League 2),' the club is widely recruiting sponsors from both domestic and international markets.

■ A Choreographed Stadium in Orange and a Convincing 4-1 Victory

The final match was against Nagaworld FC. Before the game, fans participated in a project to turn the stadium orange by writing messages and dreams on special choreography sheets. As the players entered, the stadium was bathed in vibrant tiger-orange. The team responded with a dominant performance, winning 4-1 and celebrating with the record crowd of 3,240.

■ Festival Atmosphere from Pre-match to Night Party

The 'Stadium Night Party' was held on the adjacent artificial turf field, featuring 20 food stalls, a DJ booth, and kick-target corners. After the match, the natural grass pitch was opened to fans for a grand lottery and an interaction session with the players.

■ Three Prestigious Awards

- Fan Engagement Award: Given to the club that most entertained fans and livened up match days.
- Best Player Award: Awarded to Takuto Yasuoka and Mark Ajayi Kurita for their outstanding performance throughout the league.
- Fair Play Award: Recognizes the club's respect and sportsmanship on the field.
