Smart Eye Camera Wins 5 Awards, Including Best of Discipline in Product Design, at the 105th NY ADC Annual Awards

OUI Inc., a venture from Keio University School of Medicine, reports that its joint project with TBWA HAKUHODO, the "Smart Eye Camera," has won a total of five awards, including the "Best of Discipline" in the Product Design category, at the 105th NY ADC Annual Awards held in New York.

The "Smart Eye Camera" is a compact medical device that attaches to an iPhone to enable ophthalmic examinations. Cataracts, the leading cause of blindness worldwide, can often be prevented from causing blindness with timely treatment, yet remain a major social issue in developing countries. This product aims to address this problem by making eye exams possible anywhere.

This win follows a series of accolades from other international awards, including Cannes Lions, Mad Stars, and Spikes Asia.
