Ayako Ishikawa Announces New Album "Stradivarius Gift" Played on a 1711 Stradivarius

Ayako Ishikawa, a violinist active both domestically and internationally, will release her new album "Stradivarius Gift" on May 2, 2026.
The famous instrument Stradivarius, crafted in Cremona, Italy in 1711, has been passed down to Ayako Ishikawa today after more than 300 years. This work, "Stradivarius Gift," contains tracks on the two axes of classical music and original songs, allowing you to enjoy the rich and colorful tones of the famous instrument played by the expressive Ayako Ishikawa.
Among the albums released in the past, this one includes the highest number of original tracks, making it a work that focuses more than ever on her aspect as a composer.
In addition, Kaoru Okubo, who is active as an arranger and keyboardist for many artists, took on the sound production along with the arrangement of all songs. Through a powerful team-up with Kaoru Okubo, whom Ayako Ishikawa has respected for many years, it is a full album of wholehearted effort pursuing new possibilities for the classical violin.
This work is Ayako Ishikawa's first self-produced album since going independent. For this very reason, it was produced with the desire to convey a "feeling of gratitude" to the fans first and foremost!
The trigger for the album production was a survey conducted at the fan club event "AYAFAMI" at the end of last year! Including surveys on the direction of recorded song genres, costume colors, and hairstyles, a popularity vote for songs composed by Ayako Ishikawa was held, and furthermore, receiving that the number 1 thing they "want fulfilled in 2026" was a "new album release," this album project was immediately put into execution.
Fans' opinions have been incorporated into various elements, making it an album dyed in Ayako Ishikawa's unique "fan color."
Also, in the newly written original song "GIFT" recorded at the end of the album, there is a surprise that secretes the very existence of everyone who supports her, "AYAFAMI," into the musical notes, strongly making one feel her gratitude toward the fans.
