At this event, a special dinner course prepared by the O Park Ogose chef will be offered, along with a whisky explanation by a representative from Hanyu Distillery. Founded in 1625 (Kanei 2). Obtained a whisky manufacturing license in 1946, shortly after World War II. During the local whisky boom of the 1980s, its main brand "Golden Horse" gained popularity. In 2000, due to the decline of the whisky market, self-distillation was suspended. After 20 years since the suspension of self-distillation, Hanyu Distillery resumed manufacturing its own malt whisky in 2021.
