Chichibu Yumoto Buko Onsen Hosts "Yokoze Koinobori Festival" Until Golden Week, Featuring Koinobori Baths and Koinobori Making Workshops

Onsen Dojo Co., Ltd. (Tokigawa-machi, Hiki-gun, Saitama Prefecture, Representative Director: Hisaki Yamazaki) operates Chichibu Yumoto Buko Onsen (Yokoze-machi, Saitama Prefecture, hereinafter Buko Onsen), which is currently serving as the main venue for the "Yokoze Koinobori Festival," displaying approximately 180 carp streamers.

The "Yokoze Koinobori Festival" is a popular annual event in Yokoze-machi, where numerous carp streamers adorn the sky above the Yokoze River, which flows right next to Buko Onsen.

Some of the displayed carp streamers were donated through the "Koi Koi Campaign." This campaign, which allows visitors to exchange unused carp streamers from their homes for a free admission ticket to the facility, is running until April 24th. (Ends when the first 20 participants are reached).

In conjunction with the Koinobori Festival, Buko Onsen is also holding events within the bathhouse and facility, including a "Koinobori Bath" and a "Koinobori Making Workshop."

Onsen Dojo, whose corporate philosophy is "transmitting culture from baths," will enthusiastically enjoy and enliven the "Yokoze Koinobori Festival" with the local community.

◎ Koinobori Bath
Carp streamer-shaped cypress wood, with messages written for children, will float in the bath. Please enjoy the scent of cypress and the messages.

◎ Koinobori Making Workshop
During Golden Week, a Koinobori making workshop will also be held for children.

◎ Koi Koi Campaign
Exchange unused carp streamers from your home for one free admission ticket to Buko Onsen (first 20 participants).

Implementation Period: Saturday, April 11, 2026 – Friday, April 24, 2026
・Regardless of the number of carp streamers brought, only one invitation ticket will be provided.
・Even after invitation tickets run out, carp streamers can still be accepted.
・Carp streamers will not be returned after the event ends.

■ Yokoze Koinobori Festival
Location: Above the Yokoze River near Chichibu Yumoto Buko Onsen
Period: Saturday, April 11, 2026 – Wednesday, May 6, 2026
Access: Approximately 10 minutes walk from Yokoze Station on the Seibu Chichibu Line. Free parking available.

■ Chichibu Yumoto Buko Onsen
Buko Onsen is a hot spring facility located at the foot of Mt. Buko, the symbol of Chichibu, along the Yokoze River. It is approximately a 10-minute walk from Seibu Railway's Yokoze Station. It features open-air baths surrounded by greenery, jet baths, and saunas. Accommodation facilities and a campsite are also attached, so please use it as a base for sightseeing in Chichibu and Nagatoro.
