Nexil, Inc. Announces Change in Representative Director and President

Nexil, Inc. (headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo; hereinafter "Nexil"), a company specializing in career transition support for inexperienced job seekers, announces that Akimori Sugimoto, who previously served as Executive General Manager and Director General Manager, will assume the role of Representative Director and President effective June 1, 2026.

This transition to a new management structure aims to deepen collaboration with the Finez Group and further expand business operations. Under Sugimoto’s leadership, who has driven organizational growth since the company’s inception, Nexil will accelerate decision-making and pursue innovative value creation by leveraging the strengths of the group.

In 2026, Nexil joined the Finez Group, a company specializing in marketing DX support using video. Many of Finez’s clients face the business challenge of “labor shortages,” which aligns closely with Nexil’s expertise in talent introduction services.

At this pivotal juncture, Sugimoto, a founding member who led business development and organizational expansion from the startup phase and drove growth in the talent introduction business, has been appointed Representative Director and President. Since the company’s founding, he has significantly expanded the organization and now oversees over 4,000 monthly job seeker registrations, advancing both business and organizational growth.

Moving forward, Nexil will further strengthen collaboration with the Finez Group, supporting client companies’ growth through integrated marketing and talent support, while actively pursuing new business ventures and service expansion.

■ Profile of the New Representative Director and President: Akimori Sugimoto

After graduating from university, Sugimoto joined a major financial institution listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. He gained experience in sales and management during a period of industry restructuring.

In 2020, he joined the predecessor company of Nexil, Inc. In April 2021, he became a founding member of Nexil, Inc. Since the startup phase, he has led the launch of multiple new businesses and driven growth and organizational expansion as head of the talent introduction business. He has also overseen overall management, including business strategy, organizational development, and recruitment. After serving as Executive General Manager and Director General Manager, he assumes the role of Representative Director and President effective June 1, 2026.

I view this moment as Nexil’s “second founding phase.” Under the new management structure, we will strengthen our existing business foundation while accelerating growth and building a robust management system to enhance corporate value.

Finez specializes in marketing DX support using video, with over 24,000 cumulative client companies. Many of these clients face labor shortages, creating strong synergy with our talent introduction services.

Going forward, we will deepen collaboration with the Finez Group to support client growth through integrated marketing and talent solutions. By maximizing group synergies, we will not only grow our talent introduction business but also actively develop new ventures and expand service offerings.
