Dandadan Launches New 'Gyoza Shop Chibi Shumai'

Dandadan Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of NATTY SWANKY Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Yuji Iseki), operates the 'Nikuju Gyoza no Dandadan' (Juicy Gyoza Dandadan) chain nationwide based on the philosophy of creating 'stylish and spirited' stores. Founded in Chofu, Tokyo, in 2011, the company aims to create spaces where people can relax and enjoy gyoza and beer.

Starting May 22, 2026, all Dandadan locations will launch 'Gyoza Shop Chibi Shumai' (steamed and fried).

The goal is to create a new signature item that lowers the barrier for ordering 'one more dish' and is loved in any dining situation.

With this in mind, the Chibi Shumai was created with a serious pursuit of taste, despite its overwhelmingly low price of 50 yen per piece.

In test sales, the product was well-received across various areas and generations, including for business district lunches, family meals in bedroom communities, and as a second-stop option in nightlife districts.

Based on the concept of 'serving piping hot food immediately,' customers can easily enjoy 'better-than-the-price satisfaction' for everything from daily lunches to night-time dining.
