Mycat Inc. (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo) announced that it will analyze regional differences in land survey costs based on the compensation statistics published by the Japan Federation of Land and House Investigators Associations. These insights will be integrated into the cost calculation logic of their survey cost diagnostic service (https://sokuryo.xyz), with plans to add a feature that visualizes regional cost trends. According to the statistics, costs range from 300,000 to 800,000 yen, influenced by factors such as the number of adjacent plots, requirements for public-private boundary assessment, and the difficulty of boundary restoration. Urban areas tend to have higher costs due to a higher density of adjacent properties and more frequent needs for public-private boundary assessments. In contrast, rural areas may incur lower costs, often requiring only a current situation survey (200,000–450,000 yen).
