Mycat Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Meguro, Tokyo) has launched a new category-based divorce alimony simulator on its AI alimony simulation service "Isharyo AI" (https://isharyo.xyz).
Tool URL: https://isharyo.xyz/tools/type-simulator
What Is the Category-Based Simulator?
The previous version of Isharyo AI handled divorce alimony estimates in a single unified flow. However, the factors considered vary significantly depending on the cause of divorce. This tool divides divorce causes into four categories and provides input fields and calculation logic optimized for each.
The 4 Supported Categories and Their Input Fields
1. Infidelity (Cheating/Affair) Simulator
Input fields:
- Length of marriage (years)
- Whether there are children and how many
- Duration of infidelity (from discovery to present, or the period during which it occurred)
- Nature of infidelity (one-time / ongoing / cohabitation, etc.)
- How the infidelity was discovered
- Impact on the marriage (led to divorce / currently separated / marriage continuing)
Calculation characteristics: The logic branches depending on whether divorce occurred or the marriage continued. Estimates tend to be higher when divorce resulted, and relatively lower when the marriage continued.
2. Domestic Violence (DV) Simulator
Input fields:
- Type of violence (physical violence / throwing or destroying objects / economic abuse / sexual abuse) — multiple selections allowed
- Duration of DV (approximate period from first to last incident)
- Severity of harm (whether medical treatment was sought / hospitalization / lasting aftereffects)
- Whether a medical certificate exists
- Whether police were consulted or a report was filed
- Whether a protective order was applied for
Calculation characteristics: The presence of physical violence, severity of harm, and availability of evidence (medical certificates, police records) significantly affect the estimated amount.
3. Emotional Abuse (Moral Harassment) Simulator
Input fields:
- Nature of psychological distress (verbal attacks / silent treatment or indifference / excessive control / denial of personhood) — multiple selections allowed
- Duration of harassment
- Types of evidence (LINE or email records / audio recordings / diary / third-party testimony) — multiple selections allowed
- Whether counseling was sought (psychiatry or psychosomatic medicine)
- Whether a medical certificate exists (depression, adjustment disorder, etc.)
Calculation characteristics: Emotional abuse is a category where the presence of evidence has a particularly large impact on recognition. The reliability of the estimate varies based on the type and quantity of evidence, and results are displayed separately as "estimate with sufficient evidence" and "estimate with insufficient evidence."
4. Malicious Desertion Simulator
Input fields:
- Duration of unpaid living expenses (months)
- Degree of non-payment (completely unpaid / partially paid / reduced payments)
- Circumstances of separation (the other party left unilaterally / after discussion / the claimant left)
- Duration of separation
- Degree of financial impact (fell into financial hardship / needed to borrow money / no significant impact)
Calculation characteristics: The duration and extent of unpaid living expenses are central factors. Since the recognized amount for malicious desertion varies widely compared to other categories, results are displayed as a range estimate.
Output for Each Simulator
All four categories share the following diagnostic output.
- Estimated amount range: Displayed as "¥X ~ ¥Y"
- Weighted impact of factors: A bar chart visualizing how much each entered factor contributes to the estimate
- Explanations of factors that raise or lower the estimate: Personalized feedback based on the user's inputs
- Checklist for organizing information when consulting a professional: ...
