Mission Full Co., Ltd. (Location: Osaka Prefecture, CEO: Yuki Kanewaka), a coaching company, will sequentially launch trial sessions of the participatory pitch event 'MAP BATTLE' starting in May 2026. This is part of the 'Map Journey Project' program, which visits 100 facilities nationwide, carrying the book 'Freed from Life's Uncertainties! The Map of What You Want to Do' (published by SB Creative).
What is MAP BATTLE
MAP BATTLE is a community-spreading workshop project where participants draw their own 'Life Map' and give a 3-minute pitch presentation in front of their peers.
Participants fill out the following three 'Map Sheets' in advance and present them on the day.
1. GOLDEN GOAL
'Why do I walk this life?'
The great cause and mission that becomes the North Star to aim for at the stake of one's life.
2. MILESTONE MAP
'By when, and which mountain will I finish climbing?'
Drawing specific goals for 3 years and 1 year later through backward thinking.
3. FIRST ACTION
'What will I do tomorrow morning?'
Declaring the smallest step you can take right now.
After the presentation, there is a Q&A session (2 minutes) from the audience, followed by voting for the 'Map that most ignited the heart'. The system is designed so that 'what you want to do' starts moving the moment the battle ends, by writing supporting gifts (networking, skills, collaboration proposals, etc.) for the presenter on the back of the voting slip and handing it over.
Why this event is needed now
Only 6% of Japanese people are enthusiastic about their work (Gallup survey, lowest among 139 countries). The turnover rate within 3 years for university graduates is 34.9%, and the biggest reason is 'the work didn't suit me' (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, announced in 2024).
The state of 'not knowing what I want to do' is not an individual's weakness, but a structural problem caused by a social lack of opportunities to learn about self-understanding and career design.
The author, Yuki Kanewaka himself, had the same worries while studying at Osaka University Graduate School, took a leave of absence to travel to 27 countries for 9 months, and has a past where he couldn't find an answer even after writing over 500 self-analysis sheets.
After becoming independent as a coach, he compiled a method systematized through dialogue with over 1,500 people into a book, and this time he will deliver it nationwide as a 'place to talk'.
Collaboration with the Map Journey Project
MAP BATTLE will be deployed as one of the free programs held at the visiting facilities (100 facilities nationwide including universities, high schools, coworking spaces, and companies) of the Map Journey Project.
The Map Journey Project provides the following free of charge to each facility:
- Free book donation: Deliver one book and place it in a shared space or bookshelf.
- Coaching session (30 minutes): Individual coaching for facility directors/managers (usually equivalent to over 25,000 yen).
- Talk session (60-90 minutes): Lecture on the theme of 'Finding what you want to do' (usually equivalent to over 100,000 yen).
- MAP BATTLE Trial Session: On-site holding of a participatory pitch event.
MAP BATTLE Deployment Roadmap
PHASE 1: Qualifying/Test holding 1-3 months later
Small-scale holding within the community (5-8 people)
Preparation of facilitator manual
PHASE 2: Main battle/Festivalization 3-6 months later

Open to management and entrepreneur communities
PHASE 3: Self-running/National spread 6 months later~
