For Japanese Youth in their 20s and 30s who 'Can't Find What They Want to Do': Author Yuki Kanewaka to Embark on 'Map Journey Project,' Traveling to 100 Facilities Nationwide and Interacting with 3,000 People with his Book 'Map of What You Want to Do,' Starting Late April 2026

Yuki Kanewaka, who provides career support through coaching and writing, will launch the "Map Journey Project" from late April 2026.
This project involves touring 100 facilities nationwide, including universities, high schools, co-working spaces, and companies, with his book "Map of What You Want to Do: Free Yourself from Life's Muddle!" (published by SB Creative), offering free book donations, coaching sessions, and lectures.
The author himself will travel across the country to change the reality that only 6% of Japanese people are enthusiastic about their work (according to a Gallup, Inc. survey).

**Why is this project needed now?**

- Japanese people enthusiastic about work: only 6% (Gallup, Inc., lowest among 139 countries)
- University graduates' turnover rate within 3 years: 34.9% - main reason: "the job didn't suit me"
- High school graduates' turnover rate within 3 years: 38.4% - key factor: lack of self-understanding before choosing a career path
- It is estimated that a 5-10% reduction in turnover could prevent 14,000 to 28,000 early departures annually.

This is not an individual weakness but a problem created by social structures. Author Yuki Kanewaka himself faced the same concerns while enrolled in Osaka University Graduate School, taking a leave of absence to travel the world for 9 months, visiting 27 countries.
After gaining experience in employment, job changes, and becoming independent as a coach, he realized the importance of "drawing one's own life map" through over 1,500 coaching sessions, culminating in this book.

**Overview of the Map Journey Project**

From mid-April after the book's release, Yuki Kanewaka will launch the "Map Journey Project," an initiative to visit 100 locations across Japan.
The destinations will primarily be places where young people in their 20s and 30s, who are struggling with life, gather, such as universities, co-working offices, career centers, share houses, and local communities.
At each location, he will conduct study sessions and book launch lectures while donating copies of the book "Map of What You Want to Do."
Information on visited locations, schedules, and reports will be shared in real-time on social media and the official website.

**Three Free Services Provided to Facilities**
1. Free Book Donation: One copy of the book will be delivered and placed in shared spaces or bookshelves.
2. Coaching Session (30 minutes): Provided free of charge to facility managers/representatives.
3. Talk Session (60-90 minutes): A lecture on the theme of "finding what you want to do" will be conducted free of charge.
